It was nice and quiet.I wish the restaurant was open during our stay -Sun/Mon.
It was like camping in the woods, in luxury with real bed and shower. Enjoyed the firepit and the unlimited complimentary s'mores.
Enjoyed a little hike at the property grounds. Wish there was at least complimentary continental breakfast. There was free coffee and tea available.

Tucked away in a remote area with beautiful views of Tomales bay. The restaurant is closed Sunday and mondays , wish I had known that since area is remote and no closeby food options . Other than that it was lovely.

Beautiful setting in state park. Rooms were clean but could use remodeling & updating. Large window was drafty at night. Tub/shower was slippery at the bottom /didn’t have gripping pads & no arm-level shelf or ledge to place shampoo, etc.

There was a $25 experience fee that neither the staff or the business openly share so that customers aren’t surprised when they see it on their receipt.
I didn’t mind paying it although I don’t feel like the lodge provided an experience worth $25 except maybe for the sauna - i just didn’t understand why they feel it’s a given.
Now had they converted the abandoned building overgrown with dead & alive planted a few yards away past the lodge into some “haunted house” or “historical” site type of attraction, like pruned the area and made the abandonment intentional then that would justify the “experience” fee, at least for me.
If the abandoned building isn’t technically part of the lodge then it should be fenced out of view or bordered out until it is made to look presentable.

Very nice property, modern wood architecture and well designed interiors. Very quiet forest setting full of Pride of Madeira large bush/trees that were in peak bloom. Very beautiful. Comfortable lobby with view windows of the forest.
For the price the hotel provided minimal drinks and snacks/fruit

This facility is a gem in the beautiful point Reyes area and we enjoyed everything the facility and the area have to offer. The room features a perfect size with a loft for our teenage girl and homey & inviting amenities making us feel welcome. The beautiful Tomale Bay is facing our room and is so serene and tranquil. We enjoyed our morning walk and delicious complementary coffee and fruits to start our day. The entire complex is well managed. We enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely return when we’re in the area again.
