We stayed 4 nights. We used Americana and Flagstaff as a central point to explore the area - Petrified Forest National Park & Painted Desert, Sedona, and Wupatki & Sunset Volcano Crater. The hotel is well located to be a basecamp for exploring the region. We had one bump in our stay with the housekeeping. The welcome paperwork we were given at check in stated housekeeping was upon request or every 3rd night. When we found our room unclean midday after the 3rd night we checked in with the front desk. They said it was upon request always. We requested full housekeeping at that time. When we returned we found our trash still full and our paper products still out of depleted. We Di find the towels refreshed. The bed had been remade but the new sheets were stained. We went to the front desk again and they sent a person with a new sheet to correct the situation.

Clean rooms, fun design, good amenities, and no pet fee. Just book it. A one of a kind experience. Don’t book the chain hotel. There is no free breakfast but ihop is walking distance - literally next door. Or you can explore the food options in town like I did. There is train track all along Route 66 so if you’re afraid of the noise just know all the other hotels on this road you will hear the noise as well, but it’s not that often at night as much as it is during the day.

The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were super cute with a disco ball inside. Bathrooms were very big. Swimming pool was heated but we didn’t get a chance to use it. They also had a fire pit area. We would definitely come again!!

We have stayed here many times since it opened a few years ago. It’s close to the heart of Flagstaff but not in the chaos of the city. The beds are very comfortable and I’m a stickler for that. The Mexican restaurant is no longer there and I’m looking forward to seeing what will replace it. Perhaps they will have a meeting space or a coffee shop. Speaking of coffee, they do not offer tea. I think it would be nice if they had decaf coffee in the evening, along with hot water and teabags in the front office. They have fire pits in the evening and the swimming pool is a heated pool. They also offer bicycles and board games.
