Im allgemeinen eine sehr zweckmĂ€ĂŸige Unterkunft. Haben dort wirklich nur die NĂ€chte verbracht und gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt. Zimmer sind sauber, allerdings fehlt beim putzen der letzte feinschliff: Bei WindstĂ¶ĂŸen sind die WollmĂ€use unter den SchrĂ€nken/Regalen hervorgekrochen. Auswahl am FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet war begrenzt aber gut!

Neu eröffnetes Haus mit Anlaufproblemen

Sehr freundlicher und bemĂŒhter Hotelier, der versuchte Anlaufprobleme in den Griff zu bekommen: Klimaanlage bei 29 Grad Außentemperatur ausgefallen, ansonsten mehr Kleinigkeiten wie ein nicht funktionierender Fernseher oder eine Nachttischlampe ohne GlĂŒhbirne. Die reduzierte Zimmerausstattung (Bett, Tisch, 2 StĂŒhle und offfenes Regal) war soweit neu (leider kein Haartrockner im Badezimmer). Ansonsten erfĂŒllte das Hotelzimmer seinen Zweck: Ruhige Übernachtung in einem sauberen und gerĂ€umigen Zimmer (auch wenn die Zimmerreinigung an einem Tag mal ausblieb).

Im Zimmer war das nötigste vorhanden und das auch in einer guten QualitĂ€t. Das Zimmer war schön sauber und schlicht modern. Sogar eine einfache Klimaanlage war vorhanden. Aber es sah alles sehr kahl und nicht besonders gemĂŒtlich aus. Die Flure haben eher an ein GefĂ€ngnisflur mit Teppichboden erinnert. Eine Minibar oder Wasser war nicht vorhanden. Allerdings sehr unangenehm war es, dass man das Zimmer von innen nicht extra verriegeln konnte!!! Jeder der einen Code fĂŒr die ZimmertĂŒr gehabt hĂ€tte, hĂ€tte zu jeder Zeit zur TĂŒr rein kommen können. Man sollte immer eine ZimmertĂŒr manuell von innen verschließen können. Sonst war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit Kleinigkeiten die verĂ€ndert werden könnten, könnte deutlich mehr Komfort geschafft werden.

If not, it’s wise to call ahead for instructions. * Guest WiFi is easily accessible and doesn’t require log-in, a plus if you encounter phone data issues. * Pillows are notably uncomfortable. If you have the capacity, bring your own for a better night’s sleep. * The room curtains are not fully effective in blocking light. If you prefer a dark room, you may want to bring an eye mask. * Parking is limited to 4-5 outdoor spaces. Opt for spaces on the right side of the building without a company name badge. Additional underground parking is available with a €50 deposit for an access card from reception. * Reception isn’t open 24/7, plan your check-in and check-out accordingly. * The room atmosphere is quiet, and the hotel offers very good value for money. * Important for foreign drivers: The hotel is near but outside an Umwelt Zone. Check your vehicle’s eligibility before traveling and consider purchasing the required sticker from local MOT centres.

Sauberkeit: Leider gab es im Waschbecken und in der Toilette Haare. Zudem habe ich zwei Spinnen entsorgen mĂŒssen. Sonst war es sauber. Personal: Es gab ein Mitarbeiter am Empfang, den ich am nĂ€chsten Tag erst gesehen habe. Der Empfang ist etwas versteckt. Als ich nachts angekommen bin, habe ich nichts gesehen. Eine bessere Schilderung wĂ€re angebracht. Der Mitarbeitet war sehr nett. Einrichtung: Man darf kein Luxus erwarten. FĂŒr den Preis war die Einrichtung allerdings top. War stylisch eingerichtet. Ein Wasserkocher und ein BĂŒgelgerĂ€t stehen zur VerfĂŒgung. Allerdings fehlt ein BĂŒgelbrett. Man hat hier aber nicht zu Ende gedacht. Wo soll man denn bitte bĂŒgeln? Auf dem Tisch oder Bett? :) Umgebung: Ruhige Lage. Etwas dunkel. Allerdings top Lage um schnell nach DĂŒsseldorf zu kommen. Ich war in 12 Minuten schon im Zentrum. Fazit: wer nicht viel Geld bezahlen möchte aber dennoch nah an DĂŒsseldorf sein möchte, ist hier absolut richtig. Hier wurden drei von 9 BĂŒroetagen zu Zimmern umgewandelt. Es ist also eher ein BĂŒrogebĂ€ude Feeling anstatt Hotel. Es ist so wie ein AirBNB anzusehen. Super ist, dass man kostenlos parken kann. Viele ParkplĂ€tze auf der Strasse. Wichtig ist, dass man ein Auto hat. Nahverkehr habe ich nirgends gesehen.
