My wife and I have stayed multiple times at Rafael house All previous visits were excellent. We were just disappointed in multiple ways on this visit. Our room had a bad odor and it took him three days to address it even though it only took them 10 minutes to fix it when they finally did in addition one day we came back and our bed looked like someone had laid down in it after it was made, and there was a big wet stain on the comforter.

Nice hotel. According to the staff - only open a year ago. We arrived at 6am and a member of staff let us in and checked into the room (the room was booked from the day before and we prewarned them about our schedule). Generally staff was friendly and helpful Breakfast was at one of cafes next door, but one cafes was not open till VERY late and the other provided a limited service. We hope the hotel will organise their own breakfast facility, as otherwise we liked the hotel, and they do have space for that.

First the Pro's. Very esthetically pleasing. Very cool building and the setup/layout is great. Modern touches everywhere inside and good A/C and shower. Downside to that is that the outlets and lights that were bedside did not work and when charging my phone at bedtime hours, I had to get up and walk across the room at every notification versus just reaching over to get my phone. Also the wifi was non-existent during my stay and the connectivity through my cellular service was very poor. Fixtures in the bathroom have a lot of wear to them. Toilet didn't flush properly as well. Parking!!! This also goes hand in hand with staff service. I do have to say the staff I dealt with in person were VERY friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. The one issue I do have is that in messaging the property prior to my arrival to ask about the parking went unanswered. The hotel entrance is in a pedestrian only area with shops and cafés só you can not drive right up to the entrance. I had to drive around for 30 minutes in an unfamiliar area so I could park 2 blocks away and walk to check in. I tried calling for directions during this time and got disconnected. Driving in the city with my navigation going made it difficult to call back as well as there was nowhere to park to make the call. It would have been a nice gesture for them to have called me back, but oh well. Once I checked in, I was given instructions to the lot and how to get through the gate.
