The staff was great at check-in. Too many unsavory individuals in the back doing dope in their cars with the doors open. You'd better be at breakfast as soon as it opens because when they run out of something, the staff said they do not make more. At the hotel next to it, Holiday Inn and La Quinta across the street, they serve breakfast and continue to serve and make more food.

Really classic Texas hospitality. I would stay there again in a heartbeat even tho some things weren't working 100%, didn't matter because the cook came out and said whenever you are ready, I'll cook you up some breakfast Really charming and comfortable

Reserved room for 4 to only stay in a room where there was only 1 towel, and we only got 3 towels. Also our beds had black stuff all over them, and no toilet paper on the restroom we had to ask a new role of toilet paper. The young lady at the front desk was really nice though. Just next time if someone reserves a room for 4 please make sure the cleaning staff makes sure that they are really cleaning and putting enough supplies in the room for how many people are on reservation.

The room had a very strong, musty smell. Unpleasant. The walls are thin to where we could hear the person in the room next to us snoring and it literally woke us up because they were so loud. Pros: The rooms were clean and the from desk staff were friendly.

Visit back Home

We arrived shortly after 3pm. Checked in, got our room key and left. Returning to the hotel shortly after 5, we get into our room only to notice that housekeeping hadn't finished cleaning the room. We immediately notified the front desk and they accommodated us with a new room. The room was spacious and clean. The best slept wonderfully. After our minor incident the stay was quite pleasant. Would stay here again.

I did not like when the manager walked in and yelled at the lady in the kitchen while she was cooking our breakfast not only did she not wait to confront her away from the people she also cursed her out and we heard everything.we got there and only one room was ready the second room they gave us had a man sleeping in it 😂😂. Second room had others belongings 3rd room was good. Dirty bathrooms and showers, our refrigerator had a roach in it and they are charging us twice. The front desk person and the cleaning lady’s were very nice and respectful

Not what i expected

Was disappointed when i saw a roach in the rest room. I had no acess to a phone. In the shower the hot/cold knob was not placed right. The vent in rest room above was hanging on by screw. You can see a half fast job w maintenance as they tried caulking the shower pipes & knob. There was a gap between the door and floor of the room. Anything could of crawled in. The side door was unsecured, you could just pull it w/o scanning your key to get in the hotel. It could use more TLC. The pictures on web seemed like a great stay, but it wasnt to my liking when actually seeing it.

Horrible experience

Horrible stay! Had to move rooms twice. After checking in, the tv in the room had no remote. I was moved to a room with a working tv, however the toilet tank did not have any water in it. The manager couldn't get ahold of maintenance so i had to be moved a second time. I stayed one night in the room and noticed the bed had bugs in the sheets. My final room was ok but will not return.

the pictures online are misleading. My room was run down, very dimly lit and im my opinion , needs serious help. the bed was a old worn out (felt like spring ) mattress, no coffee pot even though they had coffee there. the privacy lock on the door was nonexistent and i woke up to a room that was about 50 degrees because the heat didn't work. I thought a hot shower would help but that was a joke also. the water was more of a spray than a stream. with all the above, I didn't stick around for the breakfast( i can just imagine) I was too cold and needed to get to my truck for some warmth. the guy at the front desk ,could of cared less, when i told him about the heat Also, its not the Texaninn anymore,hotels.com needs to update their system

The exterior look of the hotel is cute and appears to be well maintained. The interior is outdated and could benefit from fresh lighter painted walls and carpet. The lobby and hallways were warm and stuffy which makes it smell stale, but not horrible. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decently furnished. As silly as it may sound, I appreciated the simple white bedding instead of the ridiculous scratchy horrible coverlet you find at some properties. The room included a mini fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, small wardrobe, desk and great AC. The furniture was great, but not as noticeable with the horrible tan colored walls and outdated carpet. Simple updates that would make a huge difference include lighter paint color throughout the entire interior of the property, replace carpet in rooms with wood laminate, and updated window and shower curtains.
