Very welcoming service and nice rooms that exceeded our expectations. The rooftop dining for dinner was a special treat with a nice selection and excellent quality. A fine choice if you want to stay in Stone Town and have an authentic Zanzibar experience.

Worth every penny spent . In the heart of Stone town. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Spacy rooms very comfartable bed and pillow. Tastefully decorrated. We stayed for 3 nights and came back at the end of our trip to stay for our last night. They welcomed us back saying welcome back to your home. There was a lovely card in the room saying how happy they are to see us back in thrşr hotel. All in all very well run luxury boutique hotel.

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience, from the lovely check-in with hibiscus juice in the gorgeous art filled lobby, to the nicely decorated room with the most modern finishes, to the amazing food! Only ate lunch out as I’m sure there is no better food on the island! Beautiful kind attentive staff. Lovely French press in the room with Tanzanian coffee. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Would Visit Again, Amazing Hotel

Beautiful property, excellent staff. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and how organized and clean it was. It was a beautiful hotel. I'm not often impressed but this hotel was lovely. Couple things I would have changed if I was being nitpicky: hot water did not last long and bathrooms are open concept (no door, making it hard for families to share a room and have privacy). Even with these small things, I would go back to Neela in a heart beat.
