Its a bed for the night nothing more
Cheap and cheerful.
Dont expect the Ritz for £80 a night.
Room was spotless if a bit dated.
Shower wasnt great, but the water was hot and thats all that matters.

A pleasant stay but first impressions were poor.
The Greyhound is a place with potential that has been allowed to decline by its previous owners. The rooms are a decent size, the bathroom is good with a good sized bath, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Service was good and when there was a leak in the bathroom I was immediately given another room without question. The location is convenient for visiting both Manchester and Liverpool, Port Sunlight, etc.
But there is no restaurant or bar on site nor is there one in convenient walking distance.

GOOD VALUE BUDGET HOTEL
OVERALL A GOOD STAY.
This is a Budget hotel so don't expect luxury but budget accommodation.
Excellent value for the size of the room, a few scuffs and marks etc and limited facilities in the hotel but as this is a budget hotel you don't book expecting it to have 5 star facilities.
It was clean and tidy and the staff are amazing and very helpful.
close to both Manchester Trafford centre, Liverpool, Chester and was a great base for us.

Hotel is very basic, needs totally refurbishing, carpets, and furniture badly stained. No restaurant or bar. Staff were friendly. Only stayed one night, glad I didn't have to stay longer. No amenities close by. If you need just a one night stay, its ok. The hotel itself still advertise a pool, bar and restaurant. Which is false. I wouldn't stay again.

Not bad but defo could improve
Receptionist was a bit arrogant, not very welcoming. Room was lovely, shower could do with upgrade as no pressure behind it. Had no anti slip mat for in shower and no outer mat so nearly slipped getting out of shower. Windows were broken so had no fresh air. Fan was dusty on blades. Makeup on walls near mirror.

Awful
What can I say other than I feel I need a whole health check after staying here for 20 minutes out of my 3 night stay…. Had to book a hotel 20 minutes in due to the state of the hotel I would honestly prefer to sleep rough on the street I would feel more clean and safe. Avoid witnessed drugs people on fav within just pulling up

This place used to be fairly good and value for money. Now, it's tired, the staff are morose and there is no bar, no restaurant and no proper breakfast. My advice - unless you're desperate, don't go.

Disapointed
Actually disappointed after initially getting settled in. Staff could do no more. Allowed me to check in early, But after that it just went downhill, No tv remote, Bath peeling away, shower was like a dribble, room was just not comfortable. I ended up leaving a day early. Staff said they were doing renovation, Not one to normally leave a review

Overall terrible experience. Unsavoury folk hanging around outside the property. Convoluted checkin process, loose door handle, broken radiator, broken window latches, stained bedding, holes in the wall, sparking lights. Above all, desk staff unwilling to process complaints
