The hotel had no hot water, and deliberately didn't disclose this at check-in. When we spoke with reception in the morning, they told us they knew about the issue the night before and just hadn't told us.
We asked for confirmation in writing and were told that the receptionist couldn't do this because it was the end of his shift. When challenged on this, he then changed to "the manager won't be here until 9". Later in the evening, the same employee refused to provide anything in writing and assured that we'd get a refund when they were contacted by Hotels.com. They're now refusing any efforts by Hotels.com to contact them.
In addition to all of this, the room smelled like cigarette smoke, had no overhead light in the main area of the room, and was old, dated and in poor shape. The beds were very uncomfortable.
Definitely would not recommend. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in for both quality and service.
