The property was lovely as was the service. We were a little disappointed that we didn’t get the room with the big tub. I thought that is what I reserved but they told me the don’t reserve that room through 3rd party apps. Also, the rooms don’t have complimentary coffee and tea so make sure to bring your own. They have a kettle to heat warmer. With no hot tub by the pool there isn’t much to do on the property in the cooler months. Also, we were a little disappointed that the fire pit wasn’t on in the evening.

Highlands Resort is lovely and warm. This was our second stay there and it's just perfect. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are warm and comfortable and the property makes you feel like you are secluded. We will definitely be back.

Cant say this enough, our group LOVED Highland Resorts in Guerneville and want to return. The cabins are beautiful and comfortable. The people friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a retreat type atmosphere this is a wonderful place to be.

I have been visiting the Guerneville area since I was a toddler and was so excited to stumble across Highland Resorts. It offered the same nostalgic feeling but paired with an elevated experience in the “tents”. I can’t wait to go back again! Cathy and team you are wonderful!

Beautiful property in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cabins are much cuter in person than in the photos. It’s a fun stay.

Beautiful adult only spot in the redwoods and stone’s throw from downtown Guerneville. Cabins could be plusher… tidy and spartan. Had a very cozy bed and unit #10 had lots of windows with lady views — felt like we were in a treehouse! No full length mirror though in the room!? Could easily be added. Some of us need a mirror! No brochures of any kind with local info, Staff pleasant. Continental brekky needs a lot of work. Barely qualifies as breakfast. Fine for a night or two.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and perfectly maintained. It’s very peaceful. The grounds are groomed, but feel very natural.

I stayed in the “glamping” tents and it was very nice. A touch rural, but very clean and comfortable. Highlight was meeting wonderfully interesting people around the fire pit and pool. Cathy and Izzy were wonderful hosts.
