We really enjoyed our stay at Section L Ueno! We got a “family suite,” which was two adjoining rooms. The space was perfect for our family of 4. It was great to have a separate room for the kids, since they go to bed earlier than the adults. We took advantage of the in-room kitchen and ate breakfast in our room each morning, which allowed us to get out and about more quickly. The in-room washer/dryer was so convenient. The staff were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and so kind. The location of the hotel was perfect: close to multiple train stations, walkable to Ueno Park, 7-11 and Family Mart right around the corner, but also very quiet. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

This is an apartment hotel and best suited for longer stays. The rooms are well stocked with a decent size kitchen and in-suite laundry unit. It's clean and reasonably priced. Everything about our stay at Section L was easy! Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Our room was a good size for Japan, and very clean/modern.
