We stayed in the newer building and the room was amazing, we got an upgrade so it included a jacuzzi tub in the room. Really nicely decorated and quiet. The staff at reception were so friendly, one even gave us some local coffee recommendations. Pool was a nice bonus and the gym was good with the ability to open the windows wide to get some air in, it was well air conditioned too. Great location with lots of the main sights walkable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Silverland May Hotel. The pool area in particular is lovely, the staff were fabulous. The buffet breakfast and afternoon tea were not the best we experienced on our trip, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. I am vegetarian and was able to find something to eat each morning. Our room was good - the air conditioning was great, but the bathroom is slightly dated. The shower regularly ran onto the floor which wet half the room and our bed was very squeaky. But for the price point, I felt like this was a great stay and I would highly recommend it for the pool and staff alone.

Had a very pleasant stay here at one of the Silverland hotels in Saigon. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Rooftop pool is wonderful, and the hotel offers spa services (which we did not try). The staff are extraordinarily welcoming and friendly. We extended our stay here as it likely would have been a gamble to sample another hotel of equal quality. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from many sites (about 30 minutes or so to the Imperial Palace and War Remnants Museum).

The rooms were meticulously cleaned and maintained daily, we were able to ask for the iron and water as we needed it. Buffet breakfast hit every spot in my appetite from Pho to omelette station.
