We arrived early and the staff were wonderful about getting us into our room. They went out of their way to make sure the room is available for us. The common area was open and friendly. Comfortable seating, variety of board games, and things to read.

Had a great experience! We got there super late around 1130 but getting into our room was no problem due to their keyless entry! We only needed a place to sleep for a college visit but wish we got there earlier to enjoy the fire pit they have to offer!

Convenient mid-point to many mid-coast, downeast, and Acadia locations. Room was small, but cozy, freshly renovated, impeccably clean, and decorated with classic Maine charm. Owner and staff are all very helpful, the facility is pet-friendly, and overall a very pleasant stay. Only note: as with many older motels, do plan to bring a powerstrip due to limited outlets.

My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very good. The motel was pet friendly and staff enjoyed hearing about my pet and meeting my little chihuahua mix. I always wanted to stay at the Yardarm and I'm very happy I did. I look forward to staying with them again in the future!

This is the most beautiful place to stay for a night, couple of days, or a week. My husband and I will be back as soon as we can. The landscaping is amazing, clean rooms, and bathroom..and best of all if you leave something by mistake, they make sure you get it back right away!! What a wonderful staff too

Check in was smooth, hosts friendly and helpful, clean and tidy room and outside areas. My suggestions: use your own shampoo and conditioner (the conditioner made my hair feel...not conditioned) and if you're lactose free bring your own "milk". None was available for the cereal.

The Yardarm is a lovely motel on Rt 1 in Searsport Maine. The sign stated it is 75 years young. Our room was comfortable though on the smaller side. The only two things I wished for were an ice bucket for the room and hard boiled eggs served with breakfast. I am not into bread products at breakfast, yogurt was the one protein available. I still highly recommend this lovely local motel.
