2/10 很差

I have worked in the tourism industry for years—running DMC in the Netherlands, and Mexico—and I have rarely encountered a property as poorly managed as Rancho Puerto Escondito. This is not a hotel; it is a scam operating under the guise of hospitality.
1. Blatant Misrepresentation (The Kitchen Bait-and-Switch):
We booked here specifically for the "shared kitchen" to feed our daughters (ages 4 and 9). Upon arrival, we were told the kitchen is off-limits from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This critical restriction is hidden from the Hotels.com description. When I raised this, the receptionist’s solution was for us to "prepare breakfast the night before."
2. Dangerous Room Conditions & Neglect:
The Heat & Safety: The rooms are heat traps. The ventilator is useless. We were forced to sleep with our door open until 2:00 a.m. just to get air, sacrificing all privacy and safety for our children.
The Noise: Unbearable music blasts through the walls from 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Our children were crying from the noise and exhaustion.
Maintenance: The room was old and filthy. We had to beg for basic necessities like soap and toilet paper.
3. Hostile Staff & Financial Pettiness:
The receptionist (Colombian) and the administrator are incredibly unprofessional. When their NFC payment system failed, I had to waste my vacation time at a currency exchange.Despite the ordeal they put us through, they refused to waive a mere 90 pesos ($5 USD) of the balance.
