Great family run hotel!

Mare Nostrom was a great petite hotel, Enrico the owner was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. We spent a week traveling in Sicily, and on our way to Malta so we could comfortably get some rest and enjoy the beach across the street and some great restaurants recommended by Enrico. I highly recommend this spot!!

Great hospitality in central Pozzallo

The hotel is centrally located and the owner/hosts are very nice, helpful and kind. The city centre is just around the corner and the beach close by. Ideal for a combination of activities and stop over. There are several restaurants nearby as well as a beach for a swim.

Loved my shory stay and will definitely visit again :) I tried something new & decided to travel solo with my little dog. He loved it too. Enrico and Ginetta were extremely courteous and very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were ok. Very clean and sweet place. Our stay at this hotel was delightful. Enrico was the perfect host, helpful and informative. Especially when it came to having our rental car delivered to us, he was a great translator too. The room was clean with large windows that open onto the street one floor up and a partial view of the sea to our left. It was so dark in there in the morning the family said they could have slept till noon. We had a wonderful breakfast with the best cappuccino I’ve had in a year. Highly recommend this place if you are coming in off the ferry from Malta, as we did. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great hotel! We were only there for one night on our way to Sicily but it was very clean, quiet and comfortable in a great location! The owner was so helpful and went out of his way to help us with bus schedules and taxis. He was also very responsive to my many emails before my stay. Overnight near the beach.

Super location just across the road from the beach, lovely restaurants within easy walking distance, and a 5 minute drive to the Virtu Ferries. A little bit of work on the outside of the property makes it tricky to find the hotel and blurs the view from the window, but superb service and a very lovely overnight stay.
