The property location looks like it is in a new area where a lot of apartment buildings are found, it is on the further side than the rest of the new developments.
In terms of ease of access to the apartment, great by taxi from city centre, costs about €20. However, it is not particularly close to convenient public transport. There is one bus line in front of the building that connects to the main Red Line which takes you from Milan to Rho Fiera. But this bus is a hit and miss and never on time, otherwise the walk to the station can take over 20 minutes.
Close by there’s a huge shopping mall, it has great shops, grocery store, pastry shops and restaurants. Good for your more franchise brands and closes at 10pm!
The property itself is spacious with available crockery, cooking utensils in the kitchen, but no basics like salt pepper and olive oil. Please rewash the plates and cutlery, we found them still dirty and gross.
Overall cleanliness is subpar with dust balls flying around and floors not cleaned well. The bed was soft and sheets are clean.
Interior lighting is a bit cold as they use these energy saving bulbs that emit a cooler tone, would feel more inviting if they used warm globes.
The washing machine works great with a dryer that doesn’t work quite well, but you can hang the clothes on a clothes horse and it dries fairly quickly.
Air conditioning is an issue, it never cools down and always feels a bit stuffy.
