The Toyoko Inn Chigasaki Shiyakusho is part of a large chain of hotels in Japan (and one of two Toyoko Inns within a short distance in Chigasaki). The Toyoko Inn is a "business-person's hotel": simple-and-straight-forward and not fancy. Everything works fine and meets your needs - just not fancy. The rooms are not large but of adequate size with daily housekeeping that keeps everything very clean (including the lobby area). The internet worked fine. The front desk staff was helpful and prompt with meeting requests. Breakfast is provided - and it is fine. Be aware that this is a hotel that is intended for domestic (Japanese) customers, and so there is very little English (and no English television channels) with the exception of the front desk staff who spoke English very well. The Toyoko Inn is a short walk (5 minutes) from the train station; and only a few minutes from a large number of restaurants. There are many options for jogging/running, on sidewalks in most any direction and in a large city park that is across the street. I recommend against jogging on sidewalks during the evening rush hour as the sidewalks are full of bicycle riders returning from work.
