honest grand oasis review

GRAND OASIS… honest review here it goes grand oasis is a really nice all inclusive hotel decent food options even for picky eaters this is a good spot to go everything is decently sized not to far not to close and a bunch of pools so no one bothers you it’s like your in your own little oasis for real. Great hotel can’t wait to see what the remodeling is gonna look like bonus also got to see a bunch of friendly little critters roaming around… first time seeing a coati. Don’t leave your room balcony open… lol

Llegamos al check in y nos dicen que el hotel ya va a cerrrar sus puertas y que tendremos que dejarlo. Nos ofrecieron otro hotel de su misma cadena en Cancún, no nos quedo otra mas que aceptar. En tulum la atencion x todos fue pésima todos te trataban horriblemente mal, hasta la srita del checo in, menos la que nos aviso que tendriamos que dejar el hotel. Me decepcionó totalmente mi compra.

Terrible experiencia

Llegamos y nos dijeron que el hotel estaba cerrando, como el servicio era todo incluido nos advirtieron que no iba ser bueno el servicio incluso corríamos el riesgo de que las habitaciones no iban a estar limpias, nos enviaron a otro hotel de su cadena en Cancún pero tuvimos que trasladarnos con nuestros propios medios y el hotel de Cancún no pudimos disfrutar de la playa por El Fuerte oleaje y llevaba dos niños pequeños, lamentable el viaje de verdad

El personal necesita URGENTEMENTE CAPACITACIÓN del trato hacia los clientes, tanto el recepcionista, los de los restaurantes, los del bar, todos, la única que fue amable fue la de la cafetería. Las instalaciones de las habitaciones en pesimo estado, ya estan muy viejas, les urge mantenimiento, la regadera del baño no servia. No me quisieron dar mi cama king y tuve que juntar mis camas.

This property doesn't deserve all the bad reviews. The beach was great though hard to get a lounger and water shoes are a must due to big rocks. Food and drinks were good. Sea grasses were never a problem in the ten days we were there.

Breakfast buffet was same thing every day and I wish there were better dinner options/restaurants. I also wish they didn’t get us wrapped into the membership presentation for 3 hours! We would have said no if we knew what it was and that it would be 3 hours and not the one hour that was first promised.

This is a very tired property, showing many instances of significant deferred maintenance. The attempts to repair were substandard, cosmetics such as painting were very poor, lack of drop sheets, unable to paint within the lines. On 4 consecutive evenings we complained of construction noise in the room immediately below us despite assurances there was no construction taking place despite us providing audio of the hammer drill being used in the ceiling slab below. Rain fell during a afternoon and our room was flooded from water coming in from the intersection of the wall and ceiling over the patio door and the ceiling in the shower started to fall in. The black mould that was evident in the room being reno'd below us must be prevalent throughout the property. If a guest has mobility issues this property will offer many challenges as there are numerous elevation changes of various degrees with numerous rooms that require navigating 10-20 steps to access rooms that are between floors serviced by the elevator. The sewer gas smell was noticeable throughout the property.

Como es clásico de un staff de la Riviera maya el personal hace todo lo posible por que tu estancia sea incómoda por el simple hecho de ser nacional, en lo personal que tengo bastante experiencia viajando a estos destinos, no logran arruinarme ni un momento pero su intención se les nota y este hotel no es la excepción, en cuanto a las instalaciones todos los demás comentarios son ciertos y la playa es muy angosta, la comida muy buena, pocas palapas y camastros en playa. En fin lo único bueno es la comida y las bebidas.
