Quite bad

AC is very noisy. Room is small and feels old. Shower is small Room are poorly isolated so very noisy at night from people coming back from clubs. Swimming pool small. The only positive aspect is the location for me and it was cheap.

Not worth the money

There were 6 of us staying in the room and we had 3 towels. We requested more, but never got any. We did go to the lobby and get our own. Cans of soda were $5 a piece. Walk across the street to the store, much cheaper. Great location. Walking distance to stores, shops and beach. Not worth the money.

Estadia satisfatória.

Excelente localização, quarto reformado. Wi fi top. Cama boa, roupa de cama maravilhosa. Única reclamação do mesmo é a acústica, péssima! Fiquei no primeiro andar e se ouve absolutamente todos os passos e barulho na sua cabeça, além de conversas nos quartos ao lado e de quem passa no corredor. No mais atendeu perfeitamente.

Highly recommend. This will be my go to place!

Wonderful hotel property. Perfectly situated to walk to Miami Beach, get to the Port of Miami and arrive from the Airport. The buildings are off the street and QUIET! This is a “noisy” area of Miami Beach but you wouldn’t know it from the tranquility of the buildings. We stayed in the Taft Building. Loved it! Great price. Very comfortable. Easy check-in and the ability to pay a little extra to check out late. This worked great for us as we were leaving on a cruise and our embarkation arrival time wasn’t until 4 pm. The room was very comfortable and perfect for an overnight or longer stay. The bed and linens were VERY comfortable and I’m all about nice bedding!

Nice Concept

Nice concept (four historical buildings grouped into a small campus with a shared pool) and great location. Our room had an apparent water leak in the ceiling, which simply had to be worked around during our very short stay. But otherwise it was fine.

Would not recommend!

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel in Miami. Upon arrival, the room was dirty, which left a poor first impression. There were no possibilities to open the windows, making the air inside feel very stale. The air conditioning system was poorly maintained, and the air remained constantly humid and uncomfortable. Both of us got sick from the air in the room. Additionally, the windows were leaking, allowing rainwater to come into the room during a storm. Based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The a room was decent and clean, nice pool, bar often closed but overall good service. The location is second to no one, close to everything you want to see and experience in south beach!

Sonder, the Deco has a great location in South Beach with lots of nearby restaurants and only a couple blocks from the beach! The room and bathroom were spacious, the beds were comfortable with lots of pillow choices and the provided shower products were very nice! Beautiful courtyard with lounging areas and pool! Staff was very friendly and efficient. Our only complaint was hearing the people in the room above us walk around and talk...I would suggest quiet hours aftwr 10 or at least 11 pm

Please make pre-arrival verification voluntary

Sonder asked for Mandatory "Pre-arrival verification" before arriving at the hotel. The verification included scanning ID, that is your passport, drivers license etc. And also taking a picture of your face to match the ID with your face. Because of cyber-security reasons and in order to avoid identity theft I strongly advice people to NOT share pictures of these documents over the internet. In my opinion this part of the pre-arrival verification is completely unnecessary and should at the very least be made voluntary. I suspect it would even be illegal in most/all western european countries to have this kind of "service", which I think says enough. My recommendation: Please make the pre-arrival verification voluntary. Besides that the hotel and personel on site were all good.
