Property only 2 mins walk from station. Strongly suggest get a balcony view as view is amazing. Clean hotel and Switzerland in general. Lots activities in easy distance. Transport system brilliant. This property was super cute! It did not have AC, but the staff offered suggestions for how to make things cooler- it worked for the most part. We enjoyed the view and the balcony. Really liked its proximity to the train station and the town. It was easy to get around. The staff was very friendly and personal. This breakfast buffet was our least favorite though- although, it was fine. The room was a bit tight for two.

Grinderwald First

Grinderwald is such an amazing place. You haven’t visited Switzerland until you’ve been to the Berner Oberland region! Location of hotel is adjacent to train station and the primary local bus stop is across the street. Hotel is a little older than others but it’s very clean, updates are being done and its views of the Eiger are outstanding!!! Staff service and continental breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our nights here. The only down side was the size of the room. 2 adults with 2 large suitcases would be crunch time! We had 2 carry-ons and could feel tight. But like mentioned, the balcony views are incredible!!!!

This is a very nice place. Located in a central place, close to almost everything, especially the train station. The beautiful mountain is right outside, especially a great view from the balcony. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome! The best one we had on our European trip. And the girl who takes care of the breakfast is so sweet and nice, always makes sure to say "Goodbye" when you are leaving. I loved this place. It's a great value, especially the breakfast. I would definitely stay here when we return.
