The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were great - spacious with everything we needed for our week long stay. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. We didn’t use the restaurant during the day/ evening as Winterthur has excellent dining options. Nothing to do with the hotel, but major roadworks were taking place in Wartstrasse which sometimes made it difficult to enter/ exit the road. However, we explored alternatives and found our way around.

There’s no onsite parking, wish I knew before booking. It is close to the train station but we drove so it was useless for us. The bathroom was the worse part and the hotel had a food “cooking” smell every time (restaurants below).

The place was pretty convenient and clean. The check in is a little difficult because the machine never explained when to sign and it was hard to find someone around to help. The surrounding streets were being repaired, so it was sometimes messy and a little bit noisy. The staff was not flexible about an early breakfast, even though the girls at the restaurant were really nice and the one cleaning the rooms was really helpful.

Great centrally located place that is just a block away from the train station. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a great start to each day. Plenty of meats, cheeses, croissants and bread along with cereal, yogurt and fruits to select from. We were on the top floor and the wifi was spotty in certain parts of the room but that was only a slight inconvenience. Otherwise it was a wonderful little place that has good breakfast, great friendly staff and centrally located for a reasonable price for Switzerland

Excellent hotel for overnight stay when travelling by train. Station only a few minutes walk. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and spacious. Only negative was the bathroom is terrible! The toilet didn’t flush properly and the shower had no edge around it, was on the same level as floor. As a result, the bathroom floor would flood since the water had nowhere to go. We had to use our towels to mop up the floor and there were only 2 towels. Very poor situation for the Swiss, who usually have better washroom facilities.

Property is in a quite residential neighborhood with not much access to dining and shopping. There are public transport but a little bit far for access. Staff are ok and would rather not engage with clients like me who doesn’t speak the local language. The breakfast is ordinary.

Horrendous, floors creak insanely loud, impossible to sleep. Zero Air-conditioning, it was so humid and hot I literally did not sleep at all. Invest in fixing your floors!!!! The toilet and shower are the same room and I didn't even fit in the shower at all. Ridiculous to call this a hotel and 100CHF for a night? Absolute Joke

Felt more like a hostel rather than a hotel. Self-check in was fine but cumbersome. The rooms were basic, but OK. We were disappointed by the bathroom as it was a pre-facelift one and really not very pleasant. Cracked tiles, dated and tiny, not what was shown in the photos for that particular room! No air con or fans in the room, left for a very sweaty night. The breakfast was very average, felt very student like. For what we paid, it was not good value for money. I was glad to leave to be honest. The only positive was the 24 hour check-in and the close proximity to the train station. Photos attached to show what bathroom we actually got, which was very different to the one on the room page. No one at reception at that time of night, so was unable to resolve.
