Ottima soluzione alternativa all’Hotel

Partiamo dalla camera che è la cosa più importante: bella, veramente spaziosa, arredo moderno e funzionale. Toilette grande, con uno spazio doccia meraviglioso. Posizione strategica a 100 metri dalla piazza centrale del quartiere Monastiraki - fermata della metropolitana di fronte (50 metri). Tutto il centro storico è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi o nel giro di 2/3 fermate di metropolitana. Questa sistemazione è stata una validissima alternativa all’hotel

La habitación es muy linda, entrada muy fácil y todo muy bien. El problema es que el edificio ya es muy viejo y un poco feo pero la habitación si vale mucho la pena.

I had a wonderful stay at this suite — it was exceptionally clean, stylish, and comfortable. The bathroom was updated with modern fixtures, and I appreciated thoughtful touches like the provided robe and slippers. The location couldn't have been better, just a two-minute walk from the metro and surrounded by plenty of shops, sights, and excellent dining options. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the property manager. She was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help me during an urgent situation, and her support made a big difference in my trip. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again when I return to Athens.

The entry and elevator was a bit less than expected. Once we got in our floor the room was very nice. We had the Iconic and it was very spacious and comfortable. It was self check-in. Never actually saw anyone but the cleaner every day. Christina (the manager) was available via text and was very responsive.

The property was located 2 minutes from monastiraki square which was ideal and very convenient. The property was clean and staff was lovely and communicated well. The only down side is that the room is not sound proof, as during our stay we could here people laughing in the rooms next to us and there was construction in th building next to the room. The other downside was the local tax we were to pay after the stay went from 8 euros to 32 euros so ask before hand as they are able to charge whatever they like. Otherwise its a nice hotel

Christina was very helpful but never on premise. There is constant noise all night outside with homeless on the street and garbage trucks all night. The hotel has construction starting at 7:30 am with drilling and hammering every morning. Not quite at all

Cons. Look at the pictures. We were shocked when we pulled up and the entrance to the building is as shown. No communication before hand and since we were using WiFi had no information on how to get into the room. Graffiti as shown and homeless sleeping close by. The building lobby and elevator were dirty and the elevator smelled terrible. Pros. The room itself was as pictured, clean, nice shower, espresso machine, two bottles of water and nice towels.
This is the entrance to the hotel. Graffiti and homeless all around.
This rave concert was thumping techno music and lights until 11:00 pm. This was outside our room.

My family and I stayed at Athens Design Suites for our first visit to Greece. Best decision! Excellent customer service, clean and very accommodating. I was very grateful for Christina, the property manager, that communicated with us before we arrived, during our stay and after. She brought attention to all of our needs and even accommodated with late check out as well as holding our luggage. I’m also very grateful for our maid, I think her name was Plaka. She was incredibly sweet and treated us like family. I really loved our first experience in Greece. We booked the Iconic suite, which was very clean and the perfect size for my husband, me and our 2 little kids. The location is very safe and has extra security with passcodes to the different areas. Often there was police on the outside which made us feel more safe. There is a market walking distance and other essential stores. It is just a 5 min walk from all the shopping and nice restaurants. I highly recommend this location if you want to have a comfortable and safe place to stay in Athens, Greece.

Check-in is easy and the property manager is very responsive. The Suite is near the train station which is excellent. Good location for everything - loads of dining options everywhere! I don't like that the shower cubicle has no door so every time we shower, the water is all over and floods the floor. :(

Insgesamt hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt. Man muss aber bedenken, dass es eher ein Airbnb und weniger ein Hotel ist. Es gibt keine Rezeption und man erhält einen Code für die Türen. Das Zimmer und auch das Bad waren sehr schön und auch recht neu, die Kommunikation lief über WhatsApp problemlos. Selbst als wir ein Problem mit der Bettwäsche hatten, wurde dieses innerhalb von 30 Minuten gelöst. Sehr zentrale Lage, allerdings kein toller Eingang und sehr alte alte Aufzüge. Jedoch liegt die Unterkunft an einer Hauptstraße und die Lärmbelästigung ist sehr hoch! Ich verstehe nicht, wie die vorherigen Bewertungen dies nicht berücksichtigen konnten. Ohne Ohropax ist es insbesondere am Wochenende überhaupt nicht möglich zu schlafen. Man hat das Gefühl, man steht direkt auf der Straße! Leider ist auch ein Zimmerwechsel nicht möglich, da alle Zimmer auf die gleiche Straße gehen.
