Basic, clean accommodation

This is a basic hotel, 8 rooms, no frills. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean. Breakfast was included in the price and for the area, it was a good deal. We stayed 2 nights, and it worked for us, but I don’t think I would book it for a longer stay.

Clean simple room with wide beds. Staff helpful. Access to swimming pool in nearby building. A/C provided but no TV or fridge. Coffee / tea making facility in reception area. Hotel is situated about 10 -12 minutes walk from the high street where most shops and restaurants are located.

Lovely little place five minutes walk from the port. Great air con and nice to share the facilities next door with a great little pool and lovely breakfast. All the staff were great. The only improvement I would suggest is a fridge and coffee maker in the room, and we think someone could make some money offering a bag carrying service from the port with a cart! It’s very hot with heavy bags. But overall a lovely stay - thank you!

Carey Lodge es un sitio sencillo y muy tranquilo, ideal si buscas algo básico en Tortuguero. La limpieza del cuarto era buena, pero la experiencia se vio afectada porque no nos dejaron toallas ni papel de baño; tuvimos que movernos por nuestra cuenta para conseguirlos. Está un poco alejado del embarcadero principal, lo cual es bueno para el silencio pero requiere caminar más. Mi mayor recomendación es no reservar por aplicaciones como Expedia si el precio se ve elevado, ya que terminamos pagando el triple del valor real del lugar. Si vas solo por una noche, cumple su función, pero asegúrate de que el precio sea justo y de revisar que tengan los suministros listos al hacer el check-in.

Petit hôtel familial, chambre correcte .un peu loin du centre mais plus calme ..5mn des embarquements . Accès un peu perturbant car on se perd un peu dans les ruelles du village mais on s’y fait très vite . 3mn de la mer 3mn des restos petit déjeuner simple mais correct . Ambiance très sympa..

Het was wat we hadden verwacht. Basic maar prima. Je moet niet te hoge verwachtingen hebben. Het zwembad en ontbijt is bij het naastgelegen hotel, maar prima.
