One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had many amenities. The best thing was the view. It is well worth paying for this type of room. The hotel staff were very friendly, considerate, and attentive. The onsen inside the hotel is fantastic, and the proximity to Kyoto Station is great. We will definitely be back!

It's not walking distance to many of the places we visited, but it's very close to train and bus access. Even though it wasn't walking distance to many places, I would still stay here again. The space and the comfort in the room outweighed the location. Was also glad that there was a mall with several food choices across the street for the days we didn't want to take a bus ride out.

The property was close to the Kyoto train station and a mall with a lot of good shopping and food. However, it is a bit far from the main hustle and bustle center of Kyoto and while the bus stop is close by, the metro stations were at least a 10-15 minute walk away. The rooms and property itself were very clean, comfortable, and a bit more spacious than we expected. Would recommend.

The place was clean and the staff were helpful and courteous. I booked two rooms and I wish they would had kept us in the same floor because it was a struggle trying to go to a different floor. We weren’t given the option and were not told that we couldn’t go to a floor other than the amenities and your own.

Good hotel but noise was a problem.

The hotel is new and well presented. The baths and sauna are great and everything is very clean. The service is good and the staff were kind and polite. The breakfast was okay but simple. My stay would have been good and closer to 5 star except for one glaring problem. The hotel air filtering system was noisy but intermittent. I spoke to the staff twice. First time the manager checked the noise was quiet. Second time the staff said they would turn off the air filter but it made no difference. I eventually got to sleep noise and all. Second night I tried sleeping but couldn't so I again spoke to the staff at 1am and they moved me to another room. The second room was better but the noise was still there. Both rooms were on the second floor so I don't know if every floor is the same but the worst room was 212. I hope they can fix it but it may just be part of the building's design.
