The Saint George is excellent and great value. Large and well-appointed rooms, very comfortable beds, very clean, and a great gym with lots of equipment (although you have to drive; it's about a half mile away). Highly recommended.

The Hotel Saint George is paradise in the middle of nowhere. Sure there are other high-quality hotels in the area, but this one is by far the one in the 21st century with a sophisticated cosmopolitan artistic flair with modern comforts. The rooms and bathrooms are large and elegant. The hotel's design and customer service is five stars. We will be back to see more of Marfa's arts scene and will definitely stay at the HSG once again.

The staff were great. While the overall aesthetic is still nice, upkeep is lacking. From carpet bunching in hallways, scuffs on hallway walls and doors, poor flow showerhead, loose shower faucet handles, etc. Also, why the terrible looking small trash can in the elevator?

Elegant, minimalist, clean and new. Convenient (parking right in front of hotel door!) with spacious room and comfortable bed. Front desk minimally friendly but efficient. No bell service but carts readily available. Restaurant for dinner - food just ok. For breakfast, go somewhere else if you're in a hurry.

Pros: One of the most comfortable beds/beddings I’ve ever slept on. Spacious, well-appointed rooms, slippers and robes in room is a plus, but expected at this price point. Delicious on-site restaurant with great waitstaff. Cons: Staff could be significantly warmer and friendlier in the lobby bar. The pool was quite dirty and understaffed, not enough towels, and trash isn’t diligently picked up because it is so understaffed. This is a great hotel, easily the best option in Marfa but for $300 a night, there is some definite room for improvement.

While there are other options to stay at in Marfa, Hotel Saint George is definitely the premium option. The room was ideal for our overnight stay, clean, comfortable, quiet and with an excellent range of amenities. The hotel's bar is good for a quick cocktail and the lobby store has a well-curated (if expensive) range of design-oriented items to shop. Elegant and simple, the hotel is in an ideal location for all downtown Marfa had to offer us and was well worth the stay.
