I had the very best time snorkeling and kayaking. No one else booked on my day but they took me out anyway which I thought was super sweet. I would recommend checking these guys out it's not your "run of the mill" excursion which was exactly what I was looking for!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Ocean Village. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was great. Lonah was a wonderful host and very attentive to our travel questions.

The perfect place to stay and relax! Highly highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Issac and Arnold’s place. It is well appointed, just a few minutes walk to Baha Mar and local shops, and both hosts were super responsive if we had any questions or needed recommendations. The private beach is 10/10!! Will definitely be back.

An Oasis! Steps away from the beach and restaurants. The area is a quaint, quiet, and secure not far from the bars and spots downtown. The studio was clean and exceeded my expectations! Lonah was very kind and provided me with good information to help me get around. The beach was an added bonus and literally perfect. I prefer to watch the sunset by the beach and basically had the entire beach to myself. Perfect for solo travelers.

Excellent for walking distance from affordable dining options and also the movie theater! Family apartment is very clean and it has a modern cottage aesthetics. There’s pamphlets for activities in the event you want to plan some fun. It’s safe and cozy! This property is nestled through a narrow corner and has direct beach access with immaculate ocean views! Enjoyed the front porch area for the kids to sit at the outside table and play games and also the front area for them to play!

This older property is set up like small apartments with ground floor units and up a staircase to the second floor units. Each unit has its own entry. Lonah was very helpful and responsive. The amenities were basic and the room was clean. WiFi was a daily connection struggle to test which network was available and sometimes none. The beach was really nice in that it was easy to access and in February it was rare to see others on the beach as it is cut off at each end by sea walls. There is enough beach for a nice walk. It is possible to go beyond the beach limits to walk along sandals resort beach however beware of submerged rusted rebar and one razor sharp stainless steel when passing an old sea wall at the far end of the beach. It’s about a half mile to Baha Mar and it’s walkable. Also a basic food market is within walking distance.

The outside is nice and I felt safe in the area. The beach is absolutely stunning and it is private. My issue was you have to use concrete stairs and it’s unsafe as it’s a big steep jump. If you have mobility issues DO NOT STAY HERE. The kitchen had no stove only hot plate. The glass to drink is dingy even after I washed it. Limited pots and silverware. The kitchen had a long mat and underneath the floor is broken. Look at photos. We had to ask for bath towels replacements. We don’t use same towel for 2 days. The cabs in Bahamas are scams and expensive. I use to love the Bahamas but their prices are outrageous. They say they have beach chairs. One was broken and we didn’t get a new one till 4pm, the day before we left. The umbrella doesn’t cover well because it’s crooked. You can wait for the bus if it ever comes in the heat. You can walk to get frozen yogurt or pizza. At night there was a huge roach in bathroom. Internet kept going out. Lonah was kind and professional. She get 5 stars. She responded immediately. If you needed anything. Cabs should be regulated I don’t want to visit where they attempt to scam Americans.

Where do I begin? This hidden gem is the perfect quiet place to get away for those who do not prefer the big resort hotel type vacation. Stayed here with our family of 4, kids ages 11 and 9, in flamingo cay, the 2 bedroom residence. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with kindness from Lonah and later the owner Isaac. The residence itself was exactly what we expected. Clean, spacious and a few seconds walk to the beautiful private beach with comfy seating. Ocean and beach clean, safe and peaceful. Surrounding local neighbors also very friendly and quiet. Location within 10 minute walk to great restaurants (Meze grille, Tonino’s, and Social house were our favorites). In a very safe area, comfortable walking at night. We did not rent a car and relied on the recommend car service Miss Miller, who was wonderful. She was very personable and her recommendations made our stay even better, with rates better than traditional taxis. When we return to the area we will absolutely stay here again, hopefully sooner than later!

This beautiful property offers outstanding service and accommodations.Though not a five-star resort,it feels private and offers waterfront access.The attentive staff provided everything we needed.The Abaco’s comfortable bed and amazing shower, though slow to heat, had enough water.The spacious bathroom with two separate bedroom/living room-kitchen areas is spacious enough for two and we were able to shop and cook our own meals.Ample parking was available, except in front of the cottage, where we were politely informed to move.We did have a parking space about 100 yards away, but people kept parking in it.Property is on Cable Beach, middle island’s north side.A kayak is available, but the waters in February were rough.The water was clear and warm, though there are no nearby reefs.The air conditioning vents blow strongly and loudly, right on the bed and into the shower, making it uncomfortable.The bathroom light motion sensor is annoying.Any movement near the door turns on the brightest lights, startling visitors at night.There’s no way to disable.The Wemo switch for the mirror lights also didn’t work.There’s no dresser, but there’s a small closet for two people. w/full mirror.Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, and 1 water is available.Nespresso espresso, Mr. Coffee, and grinder are also available.Hot water teapot is included.Close to most everything we needed, including the big resorts.Jitney picks up in front.Definitely worth the money.Must have WhatsApp to comm with staff!!!!

It was my birthday trip. Blue Ocean Village made it incredible and unforgivable. Lonah is a very friendly and helpful host. We got everything that we need for one week stay. Clean all around the cottage (we stayed at Bimini),fresh bath and beach towels. Private beach was unexpected too "private." We were almost always by ourselves. I'm definitely recommending this place.

Great place to stay with easy access to a beautiful beach with clear water. The host (Lonah) was always available with help if needed and also gave great recommendations for around the area. Many dining options nearby as well as Supermarkets, Liquor Stores and a Starbucks, all at walking distance. Close to the Grand Hyatt Bahar Mar with lots of things to do there as well.
