We really enjoyed the staff here as they were always asking how our excursions went and if we didn't have anything planned, they'd be happy to set something up for us. We got a tour of the property and the gardens when we arrived. Super quiet and relaxing place to stay!

A must stay

The Villa is beautiful, tastefully restored and decorated with great care. It is obvious that the owners and staff love what they do and want your stay to be an experience to remember. The grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. I would suggest a few days here to really soak in the whole thing. We were there with our three teenage boys and even they were impressed and appreciated all of the special touches.

Excellent stay, highly recommend!

A beautiful villa with excellent service from Antonio and his team. You can tell a lot of effort has been put into the rooms - beautiful decor and comfortable amenities such as air condition and ergonomic pillows. Also a great place to stay at if you arrive by car as it is free parking within a gated area. We stayed for 4 nights, spent two days relaxing at the beaches found along the way to Vico Equense, was about a 30 min drive. Antonio also very kindly helped us book a guided boat tour along the Amalfi coast with shuttle services picking you up and dropping you off directly at the villa.

Convenient to Naples airport. We arrived late and spent just a few hours at the villa. But the staff was very helpful in checking us in and out on the phone and giving us all instructions how to find our room. Only one thing to improve was the sink was not draining . But it was just a minor hiccup in an overall good experience.

This is a lovely property with exceptional service . Antonio and Pasquale were always there to help with any questions and suggestions for anything !!! The villa was full of amazing antique furniture and fixtures and gave the sense of the historic home that it is. Mount Vesuvius was the amazing backdrop to this beautiful property and it lies on a national park. The only thing we would suggest to guest who want to book is that renting a car is advisable. It is slightly remote and calling for a taxi can take a little while and is a bit costly due to the time needed for a driver to get to you . Having a rental car was the best ! We could come and go as we wished . Thank you Antonio and Pasquale!! You helped make our trip amazing !!

My husband and I stayed at Villa de Cillis Carafa for one night as we drove from Napoli to Bari. We stayed in a premium room and it was beautiful. The decor and furniture were gorgeous, the bed was very comfortable, the sitting area was lovely and the bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower. The breakfast was abundant with everything we could want. There were cereals, pastries, yogurt, eggs, meat/cheese and fruit. And of course any type of coffee was offered. This hotel is more of a manor home than an ordinary hotel so you will find it very attractive and inviting. The grounds were also very nice. It is located only about 20 minutes outside the city and was very convenient to all the sites in the area. Antonio took very good care of us and offered wonderful hospitality. The view from the terrace was gorgeous. We could see Capri and Mount Vesuvius. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Villa to anyone in the Napoli area.

Out-of-the world holiday

We stayed for a week as a family, and had the most wonderful time thanks to our amazing, kind, and knowledgeable hosts, who were incredibly helpful to give us the most useful information tailored to our interests, and often the information that only the locals would know. Although I think it is possible to access the villa by a public transport, hiring a car from the airport would be recommended although it is quite a challenge to drive in Italy. Location is fantastic, about 30min drive to the Naples airport, Naples city, Pompei, Sorrento, etc., and about 1hr drive to Amalfi. Local beach is lovely, with beautiful sunset. Rooms are very clean, with a cleaner coming in everyday, and the amazing breakfast made the stay even more special with varieties of freshly baked pastry and cakes, with a view of the Vesuvius in the background. I should also note that the ground and the building of the villa themselves are so grand and inviting. We wanted to stay there forever!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This is truly an amazing place. The location of the villa is perfect - a 25 minute drive from the centre of Naples/ airport, very close to Vesuvius and Pompeii, as well as a day trip away from the Amalfi coast - plus much more! The room we stayed in was more than comfortable and the interior design was amazing. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious and the views from the balcony were beautiful, with Vesuvius on one side and a sea view including Capri on the other side. After reading some of the other reviews we were slightly concerned about transportation as we weren’t planning on renting a car, however this wasn’t a problem at all once we were there. The Villa partner with a local tourism business that offer pick up/ drop off to the main sights around the area for a reasonable price. We used this service to go to the Amalfi coast on one day and Vesuvius/ Pompeii another day, both tours were amazing. I have to say that the best thing about our stay was the hospitality and service we received from Antonio and Pasquale. They really went above and beyond to make us feel at home and made sure that we had everything we needed to ensure we had a good experience, they will cater to any of your needs. They are easy to communicate with through WhatsApp and always reply quickly. They are both extremely friendly and professional, with extensive knowledge about the local area.

We had an amazing nights stay. The hotel is so unique, a real sanctuary! Fantastic views of Vesuvius and also the sea from breakfast. The rooms are decorated in keeping with the history of the building but with a modern and inventive twist. The breakfast was very nice too. But to top all of this, was the most helpful and friendly service from Fabio, which really made our stay.

Wir waren 10 Tage in der Villa De Cillis Carafa und haben mit dem Auto zahlreiche Touren unternommen (Neapel, Pompeji und der Vesuv sind in maximal 35 Minuten, die Amalfiküste in einer guten Stunde erreichbar). Die Villa befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Stadtkerns von Torre del Greco (Auto ist empfehlenswert, auch um Strand und Restaurants zu erreichen), verfügt über eigene Privatparkplätze und steht inmitten eines großen, wunderschönen Gartens mit diversen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem kleinen Whirlpool. Zwar hört man ein wenig die in der Nähe befindliche Autobahn, aber nach einem Tag in Neapel ist der Garten eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung… Das Frühstück ist (vor allem für italienische Verhältnisse) großartig: Cornflakes, Obst, zwei verschiedene Brotsorten, Croissants, diverse Kuchen, Aufschnitt, Käse, Joghurt, selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Eier etc. In der Villa selbst gibt es kein Restaurant, allerdings haben wir einen Abend das Angebot eines “ Vesuvian Tasting Menu” (Wein, Brot, diverse Käse-, Wurst- und Gemüsesorten, Salat, alles sehr lecker) angenommen. Und in Torre del Greco gibt es einige sehr gute Restaurants. An unserem Zimmer gab es nichts auszusetzen, die Betten waren angenehm hart, die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut. Möblierung des Zimmers fanden wir toll. Eigentümer und Mitarbeiter sind grandios. Alle sind stets freundlich und ansprechbar, kümmern sich und helfen zudem mit Tipps für gute Restaurants, Ausflüge etc. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
