We stayed for 7 days at Don Marco in Torremolinos and had a really enjoyable experience. Our room was spacious with a great balcony and an excellent shower. Everything was kept spotless, with daily cleaning from very friendly staff. The food was generally good, although the variety could have been a bit better. The cheesecake, however, was absolutely delicious. One of our favourite parts of the stay was the access to the adults-only pool, which was often quiet enough to feel like our own private space. Overall, the hotel staff were helpful, welcoming, and contributed to a very comfortable stay. I hope we come back again in not so distant future 😎

We stayed here for 5 nights in July for our birthdays. It was a beautiful resort newly refurbished and great restaurant, conveniently located for shops , bars and old town. The sixth and seventh star goes to Enrice the customer engagement manager . He was the most lovely , kind and professional person . Whilst this is advertised as an adult hotel it is part of a group of hotels all on the same site. Therefore children at breakfast and around the adult pool was not what we expected. The air con also didn’t work and took several times to contact reception to fix.

Short stay

On arrival was offered a room which was available as the one that had been allocated would not be ready until 3pm ( normal check-in time. Although this room was at first glance ok I don’t think it was to the same standard as that booked. After a night spent in the room the patio window was misted up with condensation and even the bedclothes felt cold and slightly damp to the touch. As it was a short stay we decided not to ask for another room but on hindsight I think we should have. Another matter that was not in the hotel advert was that there were major building works being carried out at one of the accommodation blocks, although these did not spoil our stay with two pools closed and the other outside pools too cold to swim it it left us with only the choice of an indoor swim! Having said all that the sunshine was great.

Fint værelse. Manglede dog meget mere plads til opbevaring, hvis vi skulle have været der mere end tre dage, og skulle have pakket kufferterne ud. Vi havde medium str. kufferter med, da opholdet her var en del af en to-ugers rejse. Nu lå de ovenpå to stole, og fyldte en del i det ikke så store vær. Rengøring var fin, også selvom de bankede på døren før 9 hver morgen for at høre om de kunne gøre rent. Skal vænne mig til at der ikke er badeværelse, men separat toiletrum og separat brusekabine og så håndvask på selve værelset. Det er muligvis moderne, men foretrækker separat bad. God plads ved pools’ne og masser af ledige solstole på mange små terrasser (måske fordi det var slut-april). Vi havde kun morgenmad og spiste i den lille restaurant, som dog stadig stor og noget larmende. Selvom der var fyldt ventede vi aldrig mere end 1 min. på bor, det var virkelig effektivt. Stort udvalg. Underholdning stort set hele dagen et eller andet sted. Den var temmelig varieret lige fra irsk sang over fællesdans og til sang og shows. Ligger tæt på alt og med kun 10 min. gang til toget mod Malaga og Fuengirola.

Dejligt hotel. Meget central beliggenhed. Rigtig gode senge (spanske "pølsepuder" knap så gode) Havde fantastisk havudsigt. Vi har været på SOL hotellernemange gange. Desværre er sol Pablo under ombygning hvilket resulterede i en stor del byggestøj og boreri HELE dagen alle dage. Og buffeten var noget mere klemt sammen end vanligt, hvilket gav en noget ringere spise og madoplevelse. Men venlighed og servicemined helt igennem. 4 have 5 overnatninger.
