Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles, mais la prestation globale ne correspond absolument pas à ce niveau de standing. Dès le premier jour, nous avons constaté une très mauvaise isolation acoustique : un bruit continu (mesuré à 38 dB via une application) a été confirmé par la réception comme provenant de la pompe de la cuisine. Le bruit ne s'est arrêté qu'à près d'une heure du matin pour reprendre dès 7 heures. La réception ayant confirmé l'origine du bruit, je pense ne pas être le premier client à m'en plaindre. De plus, la cliente de la chambre voisine m'a confirmé le lendemain matin qu'elle entendait également un fort bruit et qu'elle avait été réveillée vers 7 heures. L'hôtel a accepté de nous changer de chambre. Comme nous partions en randonnée, le personnel s'est engagé à transférer nos bagages emballés. À notre retour le soir, il manquait un bagage, que nous avons dû retrouver nous-mêmes dans la bagagerie. De plus, dans cette nouvelle chambre, la bouilloire et les sachets de thé manquaient (alors qu'il y avait deux tasses), et le flacon de gel douche était complètement vide. Il a encore fallu descendre à la réception pour effectuer des réclamations. En résumé, l'équipement et le manque de rigueur du service ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur d'un établissement 4 étoiles.

La chambre n’était pas propre et nous l’avons fait remarquer par deux fois à la réception. Malgré nos remarques, le ménage en chambre est resté très limité sur la durée de notre séjour. L’insonorisation des chambres n’est pas suffisante. Les équipes de la réception semblait légèrement dépassés par les nombreuses remarques des autres clients. Le plus, les équipes étaient sympathiques et souriantes. Nous ne recommanderons pas l’hôtel qui n’est pas digne d’un 4 étoiles.

Le bois d’Imbert se démarque par la gentillesse de ses employés. Les espaces communs ont besoin d’un peu de rafraîchissement et surtout d’un suivi de propretés. La chambre de fait en revanche très propre et la climatisation est bien appréciée. Aucun frigo dans la chambre ce qui est assez décevant surtout lorsqu’on voyage avec des enfants. Pas de machine à glace non plus, on doit constamment demander des glaçons au bar. La porte de la douche n’est pas assez longue et toute l’eau se déverse sur le plancher malgré notre attention à ce détail. La piscine est bien appréciée. Le buffet du matin de vaut pas le coup, surtout si on s’y présente à une heure plus tardive. Nous avons eu droit qu’à des croissants, plus de pain, plus de brioche, des viandes qui ne sont pas gardées très fraîches, jus d’orange chaud (à même une distributrice), franchement mieux vaut dépenser son argent ailleurs. Le repas du soir très moyen aussi, malgré nos demandes spécifiques, nous avons dû retourner 2 plats, dont un 3x (demande bien cuit on nous apporte saignant, nous demandons sans fromage ou produits laitiers et on nous apporte gratiné puis avec une sauce crème). Vin rosé servi chaud. Par contre, le personnel est très gentil.

Je vais commencer par les points positifs : - le personnel très sympathique et serviable - l’emplacement à moins de 10 minutes de Rocamadour. Maintenant les points décevants : 1- les chambres, qui mériteraient un sacré rafraîchissement et un peude déco 2- l’accès à la piscine : il faut traverser le parking (en revanche mention spéciale pour le petit bassin qui a beaucoup plu à notre fille de 4 ans). 3- et surtout, surtout la restauration : lent, rapport qualité prix très mauvais et le petit déjeuner chaotique : une pauvre jeune femme pour servir, desservir, remplir les étales etc… tout le monde se plaignait et malheureusement cette pauvre serveuse prenait pour un management qui fait sans doute défaut… Ne vaut pas 4 étoiles…
