You get what you pay for, and this is one of the least expensive hotels in the city, so my expectations were realistic. The property feels more like a hostel or a basic 1-star hotel than a traditional hotel. The building is quite old and shows its age in many places. There is no air conditioning, which can make summer stays uncomfortable, especially during warmer days. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I wouldn’t call it a breakfast buffet. It was extremely limited, with coffee and just a few basic items, more like a piece of bread and a slice of apple than a real breakfast. The biggest positive is the location, which is convenient for exploring the city. If you’re simply looking for a cheap place to sleep and don’t mind sacrificing comfort and amenities, it may fit your needs. Otherwise, I’d recommend spending a little more for a much better experience.

Good hotel in old part of Chur - about 15 mins walk from train station. Great rooms - comfy beds and clean. Breakfast very nice too. My only negative was the lady on check in who was quite unfriendly and did not give me a good first impression - I understand many people stay for just one night but that’s the nature of the town and the business. I found her quite intimidating
