The staff at the reception are excellent ! Had to go next door for breakfast where the kitchen staff also were very good. But I give it okay rating as could not sleep all night because of rattling noise all night which I could night as I had a work event next day.

Stayed in Room 10 on the top floor, was a room for 4 people but we were a group of 3 adults, easy checkin man on reception was really friendly. Was aware no lifts but quite a lot of stairs with heavy suitcases, first impressions of the room was good, but more close inspection lots of dust about especially on light switches for wall lamps, electric sockets moved whilst plugging or unplugging the phone, not sure that would pass H&S, bathroom was smaller than a caravan bathroom, so used the bathroom opposite, not idea, but it was bigger. Breakfast is in the hotel next door and got extremely busy and the room is quite small, if full you can sit in the reception area where there are table and chairs found this really odd. Would stay again due to the location. Hotel lovely and warm and all staff are friendly

The staff was nice and welcoming, the breakfast was good and the location just great. Unlike in pictures, the room was very tiny and in bad condition! Sheets and towels were clean though, despite the few permanent stains on them. Common toilets were either clean or definitely not. Some of them not cleaned up in ages. In Finland you could never have a hotel experience like that but maybe in England it's normal and acceptable. Also, all the voices and sounds from the hall came into the room very loud, pack some earplugs with you!

My kids and I had a wonderful stay at the Arran. Location coild not be bettered for aalking about to the British Museum and anto the National Gallery and the West End. The Arran Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast included is really good too. I can thoroughly recoomend a stay here. Thank you all at the Arran House.
