The property is gorgeous and really quiet. Being on the river provides a beautiful view. The sunrise over the river was absolutely fantastic. The complementary breakfast was extraordinary with a full menu being offered. All the staff were wonderfully helpful. It was a fantastic experience and wish I could have stayed longer. Our stay was very pleasant. The history and decor makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Terry at reception and Marlena in the dining room were professional and personable. Kelly at the River House was also helpful. The room was as expected with a pretty view of the property and river. I would highly recommend a stay there.
