Easy check in, hotel very clean. The only issue i found was the mattress was very soft, on further inspection matress looked very old, also pillows very thin. Otherwise all good, friendly staff.

Airconditioning did not work Room heated by a portable oil heater and a noisy heater fan! Bed uncomfortable. Pillows wafer thin. Got double charged for the room, this has been rectified but should not have happened in the first place!

Nice place, pet friendly and free parking. Vera was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fine. Only negative was that I had booked for 2 nights, my plans changed and I could get a refund for the second night despite trying weeks in advance. Therefore I won't stay there again.

The booking process was seamless, staff are friendly. My room was clean & comfortable. What I did not like is the hotel introduced a new £50 deposit on check in , they do not disclose that your deposit will be refunded after 14 days. The hotel should be very clear on this.

The room smelt of sewage as if the drains had backed up, the aircon in the room couldn’t be altered so had to have the window open as the room got Hot. The staff were friendly and polite once they turned up on the desk.

The. Mattress was springs bulging into my back when tools reception I was told they would put a topper on the mattress when we arrived in the evening it hadn’t been done Went to reception again they gave me a quilt so I put it under the sheet and breakfast was poor and mostly empty dishes

Terrible hotel. Checked in for two days. 2nd day I complained of the air conditioning which was not working around 11pm, the geezer at the reception tried to fix it but couldn't. I told him not to worry since I will be leaving in the morning. Few hrs later while sleeping, I noticed something crawling on my body, switched on the light, it was a massive spider. I went to the reception and the dude at the reception blatantly told me the hotel is fully booked for the night. That, I should check out or sleep in the room like that. I told him no way I am sleeping in that room again, they moved me to a disabled room, which I did not enjoy cos it had cobwebs too. The dude at the reception was rude. Twice I have used this hotel, twice it ended in disappointment. I will not recommend.

Would only recommend breakfast

It could do with more cleaning. The hallways were clean and smelled fresh but the room carpet needed deep cleaning with dust bunnies along the corner skating . The carpet looked discoloured and the floors creaked. The pillows were so flimsy and my duvet had a rip on the underside. There was so much hair all over the room and the beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom tap was so difficult to open as if it hasnt been used in years. The bathtub space was so narrow my hips were touching the handbar and the shower curtain it was so disgusting even my little children complained about the tight squeeze. The breakfast was the only admirable part of my stay, even thought they kept mixing the orders. Check in and check out was ok.

Great budget hotel

Hotel was in an ideal location for what we needed (japfest in Silverstone). The room was a good size, we had a double bed and a single bed and there was still plenty of floor space. The room was clean, but showed signs of use (marks on walls, paint chipped off etc), still great for the price. There was 1 very flat pillow for everyone, and I couldn't find any extra, but asked on reception and they provided extras with no issues. Towels wise we only had 2 bath towels and no hand towels, again we got more when we asked. Bathroom was big and clean, shower was as you'd expect. Can't comment on breakfast as we left the hotel at 6am. We would definitely consider this hotel when attending japfest again.
