Very welcoming. Trudie help us so much. My husband is in a wheelchair and we were there for an appt at UAB. She went out of her way to help us. She helped carry our luggage to her room and also provided information on restaurants and even helped me download a delivery app for DoorDash. I appreciate that type of concern so much especially when you have a sick loved one and you’re the only caregiver. Thank you so much Trudy and Springhill Marriott. We are a frequent flyer there and will continue to stay there on our visits.

I would not recommend this hotel. The elevator was so dirty. Only 1 elevator is currently working. The room wasn’t clean. The shower situation was strange, it didn’t have a shower door so water got all over the floor. The room had a weird smell. The mattress was sunken in and was not comfortable at all. The carpet has big red stains. The mini fridge was fallen in the little hole. I expected a lot more out of this hotel. I was highly disappointed.

Staff in the morning Thursday and Saturday were rude. We asked to speak to a manager after finding our room dirty at check in with no other room option available, asked everyday and night and were told messages left for her to call but she never called had to change rooms second night and finally stopped after 3 rooms just trying to get one with hot water. This hotel is filthy, major electrical issues, apparently water heater issues, and rude needs a major overhaul.

The room Was rather outdated, toilet paper holder hanging off wall, fridge was frozen over and leaking, several lights in the room didn’t work, only 1 elevator worked. Parking is hard so you need to unload before parking vehicle. Room was VERY loud, you can hear the standard people in halls, water from other rooms but on top of that the noises from multiple nearby parking garages come straight through the windows. We stayed one night it was ok wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay. The staff was however very nice

Staff was great. It was the room, and the lack of care that is in these rooms. Multiple parties were complaining of TV's being broken, ac's not working, fridges not shutting. Our experience was there was hair in the bed and our fridge wouldn't shut. There was only one elevator working which was the case the last time we stayed at this location. This will be the last time we stay here as we had a similar experience during our first stay. Definitely not up to par with the other SpringHill suites we stay at.

The hotel was in a good location and overall everything was up to standard except the water in the shower. Both days the water in the shower was cold. It seemed like the water was getting warm when it was running in the tub but when you switched it to the shower it was cold.
