Room was very clean and comfortable. Grounds were a bit overgrown in front but the side towards the doors was well kept with a good view. Hosts are very friendly and gave us good dining suggestions.

Very basic, old time motel with a comfortable bed. The location is excellent for the tidal bore. We used it as a base to explore burntcoat and five islands (each about an hour away). Traffic noise might be an issue for light sleepers with the highway-facing rooms, but it didn't bother us. The front desk was a pleasure to deal with.

The hotel has a great view of the Salmon River which is part of the Bay of Fundy. We were able to find good restaurants both for supper and breakfast the next morning.
