The room was adequate. They are trying to do little things to improve the look of the room. But I knew what I was getting with the cost of the room and the area. We were there for spring training and we were just going to sleep and leave and I got exactly what I expected. If you’re looking for a luxury in amenities, not this place if you just wanna crash for a few hours and get out for cheap this is definitely your place.

The room was not clean upon arrival, but the staff did send someone to clean eventually. Upon cleaning they took all our stuff because they thought we checked out. Our stuff was returned and we were reimbursed for an item that was damaged. There were no problems with neighbors or the AC. The Staff did there best to accommodate us and that was appreciated. I would not stay again if i had a choice, but this place was decent.

This is an older hotel and it shows. However, its outward appearance belies other accommodating features, such as its affordability, courteous staff, comfortable bed, old but functioning amenities (refrigerator, microwave, stove, television, small bathroom). It is in close proximity to metro and freeways. I would gladly stay here again on another trip to the Phoenix area and use the money I save to spend on dining and entertainment. "Don't judge a book by its cover."
