So So Stay
I was disappointed with this hotel. We had booked 3 nights and then added another night - both in deluxe rooms. To be fair, one with 2 queens and the single night in a king. Both were to have river views. We hoped to get a king on the river for the 4 nights but for the first night, we had a king facing the parking lot. And the last 3 nights, 2 queens at the far end of the hotel with a partial view of the river and a great view of the parking lot and parking garage. We were told that the hotel does not have king beds in the hotel's riverside rooms! We arrived at the hotel quite early and were told we wanted an early check-in once our room was ready, we'd have to pay a $30 fee between noon and one, and a $20 fee between one and two. I am very well traveled and this was a first.
Outside there were two shuttle buses, neither in service. We were told they are now decorative!
The buffet is only open on weekends. The only restaurant open for lunch is a sports bar. A 3rd restaurant offered breakfast (Very good) and dinner (we did not try it).
The rooms have been refreshed and were fine. However, the casino and private hotel lobby had a strong smell from cigarettes.
This place is fine if you are there for the casino only and are not concerned by the lack of dining choices and the nickel and diming. Personally, I would look elsewhere.
