First of all, let me be clear... on the Hotels.com app, this motel shows that it is pet-friendly. Upon check in, I was told no less than 8 times that dogs are not allowed on the bed. I told the woman that was fine, I would not allow our pets on the bed. We did not allow them on the bed. There was a chair in the room that had a plastic type upholstery. I put their blankets in that chair and that's where they slept. I tried to take a shower but could never get the water hot enough to shower. No amount of letting the water run helped so we couldn't shower. The next morning, still no hot water. We got dressed, loaded the car with luggage and our pets and went to the office to retrieve our $50 deposit. The woman at the front desk called get husband to go check our room to make sure we had not allowed the dogs on the bed. She came back and said her husband's told her there was pet hair on the bed and to not give our deposit back. When I protested, she told us to go talk to her husband. So back to the room we went. He showed us a small area of hair on top of the bedspread. I asked if he had seen any on the sheets and he said no. I was angry and told him that our dogs were never on the bed and the hair was probably from my clothes... not the dogs. He even had the nerve to ask me why I was sitting on the bed with my clothes on. I think he finally got tired of arguing with us cause we got the deposit back. Never again!!!
