Convenient and clean

Stayed a couple nights last minute to join friends for Oktoberfest. For the dates the price was good. Location was convenient. Near the train station and easy walk to old town and the fest. As a solo woman I felt safe there and in the area but I also travel often. Hotel was old but clean and comfortable. Room was small but had a fridge and fan which was a bonus! Breakfast looked good but I didn’t try it- met up with friends.

The only negative point is that the shower was old and had yellow stains, the doors of the shower cabine did not close well. Otherwise the bathroom and the room and bed linens were perfectly clean.

The receptions main door was broken. The shower area in washroom had a dislocated sliding door, No electric kettle in the room. But the room was clean and cozy. Location is good. The staff at reception is very friendly.

Rooms extremely dirty,falsh lashes lying on the floor,toilets terrible,dust everywhere.The toilets don’t flush properly, room 65 doesn’t flush at all.The breakfast was very good ,the staff very helpful, there is no space for luggage storage but they let us leave the luggage in the breakfast room for a few hours.Very valuable! Zuvorkommend kann man nicht sagen. statt ein einzelzimmer mit grossem bett erhielt ich ein einzelzimmer mit 3 einzelbetten(1x bettsofa). aber werben mit einem grossen einzelzimmer Bett.(siehe fotos). der wasserdruck von der dusche war auch sehr tief. keine ahnung ob es bei allen anderen zimmer so war oder ob es daran liegt das es im 6. stock so ist.

Das Zimmer ist gut geeignet für einen pragmatischen, kurzen und vor allem günstigen Augenthalt. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber Checkin und Checkout war superschnell und freundlich, Einrichtung alt, aber gut, sogar Schampoo etc. Die Umgebung ist allerdings wirklich furchtbar. An den umliegenden Strassen stehen viele Männer rum, trinken, schreien, erleichtern sich an der Hauswand, es gibt Spielhallen und Rotlichtlokale. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sich vor allem alleine reisende Frauen unwohl fühlen könnten. Also bei Unsicherheit lieber ein paar Euro mehr zahlen und eine andere Gegend wählen. Das Hotel an sich ist ok und für den Preis unschlagbar. Für mich, wenn alleine reisend, ist das eine pragmatische Möglichkeit.
