Great overnight stop and would have like to stay longer. Takes a bit to find but it was well worth the effort. They say staff make a great stay including the owner. Would definitely go back next time I am in mid Wales. The room may suite was super with a great view over the countryside. It did rain but that's Wales for you!

What a great find.

We stumled across this hotel by accident but what a find. Set in a very picturesque location the hotel is quite charming. There are many positives which include the rooms, the food dinner and breakfast, the staff (who were just superb) and the owner who was only to happy to chat about the hotel and its history. This is a great place to go and unwind and all four of us who visited just loved it.

Charming hotel, in beautiful surroundings. Felt like we were stepping back in time as everything was elegant and refined. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking lake is something special and the woodland walk around the grounds by the river is magical.

A very nice place to stay and relax. The staff were superb, food excellent and the rooms a very high standard indeed. Evening meal started with canapes in the drawing room, followed by a fixed price meal in the dinning room. Everything about this hotel shouts luxury in a lovely relaxed way. The Spa is well equipped with decent sized pool, steam room and outside tub. Situated a minutes walk away from the hotel. Fishing available on the lake.
