Everything for Cheap

I've been coming here for years as an airport hotel. Simple, cheap, small, comfortable, clean, 10 minutes to BKK on shuttle for only 150 Baht. Has a restaurant and bar but I just walk to either the small market 10 minutes or large market 15 minutes. Pool is nice too.

There are many places to stay near the airport, so maybe try a different one. We have stayed at this place several times over the years and it's very basic for a cheap price. This time the phone numbers listed on the website, did not work so we couldn't call from the airport for the van to pick us up. Fortunately, a young Thai woman working for another hotel graciously contacted Great Residence and then they came. At reception, they said that breakfast was not included, but I now see on my receipt that I paid for it when I booked the room. Also, there was no wifi in our room. Front desk said maybe it wasn't working due to remodeling going on (that's another thing there!). Our room was very clean & quiet. The van driver was very careful & courteous. Food at the restaurant was good. Beer was very cold.

Good location if you need to catch an early flight. If you are going to the hotel from the airport, go out to the public taxis and go to the outside small office for local taxis - 200 baht for the 12 minute taxi ride. On a map, the location may look like you can walk to the hotel but is is about 4 miles and walking is not an option. The hotel does provide transportation back to the airport and will accomodate your schedule.

Clean, but funny smell in the rooom. Fridge, electric kettle and real drinking glasses! In front of my window several large water tanks, no view. Ground floor room, but still 3-4 steps up and down. Pool open late, but had no time to use it. No reaction to my requests and inquiries upon booking, so had to take a grab instead of airport shuttle.

Ok hotel

Its was an ok stay, juat cant go as far as saying excellent. The bedroom was clean although the bed was one of the hardest i have ever slept on. There was a kettle but no drink making facilities which was confusing and the aircon took forever to cool the room down. So nothing major but just a few niggles that prevent a higher rating. The pool was nice enough. Didnt eat there so cant comment on the food. Free 24 hour shuttle bus to the airport was handy.

the room was bad...it had ants...and was VERY Loud...WE had a Family Emergency...and had to check out early....they did not CARE about trying to refund any money I Prepaid not a good place to stay...the resteraunt you PAY to eat at was good....the FREE Morning Breakfast was Horrible tasteless and not any choices
