The Foz Club was a perfect stay for us while in Algarve. It’s far enough away from the busy tourist area, but a close Uber ride away for dinner. The hotel is clean, great size, and the view from our balcony was spectacular! We woke to the sounds of birds each day. The breakfast was incredible! Best orange juice we’ve ever had. The staff and owners were so friendly and informative. We will be back.

This is absolutely fabulous place! The room was super clean with a big comfortable bathroom. The view from the balcony was stunning! We could see rock formations and the sea. Unique! The hotel building is a one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece located on top of a cliff. It has a small very private beach surrounded by cliffs. The owner collects antique museum-quality furniture, which is displayed in all public areas, so it feels like staying at a museum. Beautiful views. Very quiet, no people around at all. Surely, a hidden gem!

A very special and unique place to stay

We arrived for a 2 night stop over and didn’t want to leave. The space itself is quite remarkable and unique. So much attention to making sure that guests have lots to do. The private beach is a little on the inaccessible side, but well worth the trip down. The walk over the cliffs to Alvor beach and caves is wonderful. Ali, his son and friendly dog are perfect hosts. Lots to draw and paint too. Would highly recommend

Before arriving, there was great communication from the owner. I planned to arrive late in the evening and he was ready for me when I got to the property. The view from my room was spectacular. I had a balcony on which I was able to eat breakfast (an extra charge, but it was delivered to my room and was fantastic.) The sunrise over the water was divine and I couldn't wait to walk down to the beach to see the water up close. If you want access to the beautiful Algarve region, this is a great hotel to visit. Also, on the property: tennis courts, a pool, a game room, quiet spaces, and outdoor benches to view the water. I immediately regretted not booking more time at this fabulous resort.

Foz Club was beautiful and Gonzolo was an incredible host! This was the perfect place to stay. The views were incredible, breakfast was delicious, and it's as close to the cliff side as you can get! Beach access is convenient, though challenging for the fun cliffside beaches. It's an easy walk to the west if you want a more family friendly flat beach with chairs. The property is a very unique estate, which we prefer over typical hotel chains. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in the Algarve region.
