Room very basic and some of the stuff was damaged. There was a big crack on one if the walls. There was not a plug in the bath. Internet only in the dinning room, not in the rooms. In order to get hot water to full the tub we needed to run the water for 20 minutes!! Great location though

Couldn’t sleep the first night as the mattress was so hard and lumpy but no problem with being moved the next day and bed was fine. First room was depressingly dark and dingy 2nd was a lot better. Stayed here 6 years ago and nothing has been done to the place in that time. However location is brilliant so really you get what you pay for.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing positive to say! The hotel is so old and in need of maintenance that even the wardrobe in the room shakes when you walk on the worn-out floor. There is no sound insulation at all, you can hear everyone’s footsteps as they enter and leave the hotel, making it very difficult to fall asleep. The bed is terrible, the cleanliness is poor. In what they call a “shared kitchen,” there is only one microwave, no fridge, no kettle. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!

If you're going to spend a lot of time at your hotel on holiday I might not recommend it, but if you'll be spending most of your time exploring Lisbon and the surrounding area it's absolutely fine
