I'd happily stay again. Outside, the rooms look like a workers-camp donga, but inside they are new, fresh and clean, however very much built and decorated to a tight budget. I can imagine the Golf Club committee saying "OK, its a good idea to expand our facilities but how cheap can we do it?!".
Missing homely touches - our room had one-only small picture on the wall, of a ...weir...?!? The other walls were blank. Perhaps some golf-oriented or Aus landscape wall art might be more applicable.
Also some bedside reading lamps and a floor lamp would be functional and might make the room feel more relaxing.
We enjoyed having a drink on the golf-club deck and watching the sunset over the golf course. followed by a good bistro dinner with excellent service from the staff.
