Staff at check-in was friendly. We have 2 rooms for our group of 6. I was expecting a basic sea side motel. However, the rooms were quite warm (75°) We have no problem opening a window to cool off and listen to the ocean, but people walk past the rooms well past dark making it awkward and very noisy with music blasting from the parking lot area. Thankfully the music stop around 10pm, but after a long day of travel this was not the relaxing night I had hoped for. The locks on the windows did not work (floor level facing the parking lot). One room had a stick to "lock" the window, but our other room did not. One room we never did get the TV to turn on. The toilet seat was broken in one of our rooms, so it was easy to get pinched between the seat and the bowl. The ocean was beautiful and lots of restaurants to walk to. There was a verbal argument happening outside of our room at one point (again, very loud with the window open). Otherwise, the area seemed safe. I would stay in Pacifica again, but would probably spend a bit more to stay somewhere with less foot traffic right outside the door.
