Beds comfy, lovely clean towels & linen, rest is grim. Could be lovely units but as they are ....all very tired and old. Bathroom with mold round basin, no fan, dirty. Base of shower stainless steel so clean and plenty of hot water. Thick cobwebs hanging from internal window. No side lights, all in need of repainting. Outside area needs TLC.  The area is quiet and handy for Cambridge.  This was a last minute panic booking during school holidays and most places were booked, wish I'd read all the reviews.Got home to find a cockroach in my case!!!!

The units are tiny but quite adequate for somewhere to eat and sleep after busy day with outside activities. Communal kitchen is excellent. Hot water was marginal in unit but very hot in communal kitchen. Would stay there again, it is priced for what it is.

Relaxing, comfortable stay. Love the rural surroundings. Very tidy outdoors area. Not much info available about the Motel and services. Heatpump for some reason would just shut off after 2mins. 2/4 Stove elements always at a constant high temp. Shower temp constantly changes but good pressure.

1. Barely a 'hello' when I checked into this property. Basically told here is the key, you are in this room, down the far end. No welcome, just checked my name against the booking and that was it. 2. Units were not numbered. 3. No outside lighting. Had to ask to have it turned on, so I could go to the car outside. 4. Light switch popping out from wall. 5. Neighbouring smoke alarm was intermitenttly beeping. I did not ring reception as I had already rung them about the lighting. So, located the source of the alarm and disabled it myself. 6. Towels were well past their use by date and had threads coming off them. Tatty. 7. Bed was comfy, sheets were clean. A very disappointing stay. It felt like the owners were not really into providing any kind of experience or pleasant stay except for taking my money. No hospitality at all.

The receptionist was very easy to deal with , the weather was not nice , lots of rain and the water puddled making it difficult to get from car to room , room was very clean , the bed comfortable but it would have been good to have had a few coat nooks to hang clothing ,there were a couple on the inside of toillet door .In saying that it was value for money. .Thanks
