Okay stay

This hotel is an historic building, over 100 years old, and I think the bed was as old as the hotel.

Super easy check-in, authentic historic vibes, and Laura found my lost sweater, sleepy mask, and earbuds! Sincere 🙏 thanks!
Peggy, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Laura, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. She truly embodied that classic Western hospitality you don’t come across every day. The hotel was clean, cozy, and had a homey charm that made it feel like a peaceful and welcoming place to land in the mountains of Idaho City. I’d absolutely stay again. I only stayed for the night, but I wish I had stayed longer to check out all the neat western stores and restaurants in walking distance. Great stay!

Very old building but renovated rooms. Very clean, and excellent service. Would stay there again.

The Idaho City Hotel was fine - small, clean, quiet. Had to check in at a bar. Took awhile to find someone that knew how to do the check in. Innkeeper was nice. No problem there. Didn't like the town. Couldn't find anything to eat except in a couple of nasty bars. Everything closed for July 4th. We would not return.

Tv doesn't work

Clean room but the satellite didn't work so I couldn't watch TV all night

Plastic on the bed made is noisy and sweaty so I had to take a second shower in the morning. Whoever set up the room - didn't kno what they were going.

Pleasant Stay

I really liked the property. I hated there was no air conditioning nor a mention of said fact in the listing.
Dewayne, 1-night trip

It works when you're in a pinch. The place was clean and they had coffee and books!

Step back in time

This is not a 9.6 location. It's closer to a 4. No air conditioning. A chair, a bed, creaky floors, no security (not that it's needed in this town). No breakfast service. Shower was nice with soap and shampoo dispensers. The rustic porch and rocking chair were nice.

Historic site

It was fun to stay in a historic building. The rooms are very small but the accommodations were very comfortable and the staff were very nice. The instructions for check in said to check in at the restaurant but we needed to check in at the hotel.
