Historic site

It was fun to stay in a historic building. The rooms are very small but the accommodations were very comfortable and the staff were very nice. The instructions for check in said to check in at the restaurant but we needed to check in at the hotel.

Service animal

We have a service animal, very small dog. Laura at the front did not allow us to stay even though the sign at the front door clearly stated service animals were allowed. We had to drive over an hour back to our house for the night as there was no other availability to stay in Idaho City.

Cozy historic getaway

Perfect place to rest our heads for a lazy hot spring weekend! We love old buildings so it was fun staying at this old (but newly renovated) hotel— the room was comfy and renovated bathroom met our needs perfectly- can’t wait to visit Idaho city again

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but they must use some sort of very heavily scented laundry detergent which gave me a headache. Also, there were extremely bright porch lights right outside the window and very small curtains that didn’t keep the light out, so we got very little sleep.

We had a fun time exploring this town. Everything is within walking distance. The only problem my daughter had was the tv wasn’t working while we were there.
