My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer!! They were so lovely from check in to check out making sure we had what we needed and providing that beautiful location for us to stay in. The decor in the house and our room in particular was stunning, rich and colourful. We would 100% recommend staying here as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the train station that takes you practically everywhere around Auckland!! Thank you Aachen House :))

Aachen House is a stunning historic building. Full of character and history . So much more interesting than a normal hotel room. My room was huge and comfortable with a balcony and a seperate bathroom. The bath was amazing.

I cant believe I was the only lady of the manor staying in this extraordinary home. In the heart of Auckland 2 mins walk to Remuera train station, there's no need to tangle with the motorway. I was staying for treatment at ARO, 6mins drive away and returning to blissful bed in my sunny room- I will definitely be back

Gone downhill with new Owners

Had trouble getting in, no one around, had to phone them. Room stunk of over perfumed smelly cleaners. This was once a premier private hotel, a member of the Rolling Stones once stayed there for some months after hurting his head falling from a coconut tree in the Pacific Islands. The Hotel was sold a while ago & is obviously no longer up to the standard it used to be. Probably over priced based on lower quality & poor service. Won’t stay there again.

Otroligt charmigt boende i äldre men väl bevarat och vackert hus. Delat köksutrymme med övriga gäster gav en familjär känsla. Nära till tåg som raskt tog oss in till Auckand city. Det enda negativa var egentligen att det var lite lyhört. Området var dock lugnt så det hänger lite på vem rumsgrannarna är om det blir en lugn vistelse. Otroligt fin trädgård dit vi hade tillgång. Vi kommer gärna igen!
