Service isnt really a thing here
Overall the room was to be expected dated but clean. Nothing great but not terrible. The service however, was lacking. According to hotels.com check in is 4-11pm with a request to call of going to be past 6pm. We were going to be late (1130-12ish) because of a concert so we called that afternoon to let them know. I have never had an issue with something like this anywhere else but when I called I was told check in was until 9, not 11 and they would make a note but would likely give our room away since we were late. They wouldnt even let me pay on the phone or anything to hold our room so we had to drive an extra hour up there an back to check in before going back into Denver for the concert.Then in the casino the food and service was awful. They wanted you to use their app to even order food but you have to upload your ID. Then no one would notify you or bring your food, they just put it on a counter for you to retrieve, if you happened to know that it was ready.
Not thrilled! Will definitely choose a different place to stay next time we are in Blackhawk.
