The property is really difficult to get to. Directions are not good. The porch and outside sitting areas qere not clean or suitable for enjoying being outside in the hill country. The inside was clean. However there was some offensive propaganda strategically placed around the house. Wimberly was close by so were the shops at the San Marcos outlet mall

Really disappointed with this place. First we had no idea until we got there that you are SHARING your cabin with strangers. People were in the living room when we got there and thought either we had the wrong cabin or they did. Come to find out we were staying WITH them…what?!? You have separate bedrooms and bathrooms but we felt confined to that since they were always hanging out in the living room. Not to mention you can hear EVERYTHING. At least we know they were having a good time. Also the photos are much better on the site than what it really looks like. The deck is not inviting whatsoever to enjoy a morning cup, but that’s ok because in our bedroom there was a “nespresso” machine but no cups/creamer/stirrers so you are out of luck unless you want to be in the communal area with your co-habitants and make small talk (not something I want first thing with bed head)- there was a keurig and creamer/mugs/spoons there, however. Every inside plant that could’ve added a bit of inviting vibe was dead. So, we avoided being at our paid for cabin unless it was just to sleep. Also, if you are 6ft or taller you will not be able to shower if you have the upstairs bedroom/bathroom. It is tiny with a slanted ceiling where the shower head is right about 5’11 (that is how tall my husband is who had to duck to get his head under the shower). This is not a place we will return to but we’re so hopeful it would’ve been great a home base for us to stay while visiting our TXST student.
