The service personal was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but small. The bathroom was very small. We found, that 14€ per person for the breakfast was too much. 15€ per night for the parking is way too expensive. The way to the tram is only five minutes, which is nice.

The staff as Hotel Fogo were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. As for the room, I felt the bed was very uncomfortable and the room was small, I could barely turn round in the bathroom. Also the breakfast its self was reasonable but the organisation was a shambles, had to constantly keep asking for cutlery and the food was very slow to be replaced once ran out. On both days I also had to sit at a table which was far too low and uncomfortable to eat your breakfast from.

I wouldnt recommend this hotel at all. After staying 1 night the second night got woken up to a staff member banging the door down waking myself and partner up at 4:25am apparently smoking i wasnt dressed and my partner told him this then putting his foot in the door telling us we have to get out right now were being fined of €200. After seeing myself and partner smoke outside in our car. After this they tried to over charge us city tax to only find out im not silly and knew the percent i had to pay. The food isnt great. Not much local. 2 hours walk to amsterdam city Transport is okay but stops early.

Good transport links, easy to get to the centre or other parts of the city. Room cleaned every day, hoovered, bed made and fresh towels. Not been dusted in a while, we were sneezing a lot in our room, we looked around and the bedside tables and the items on them had a considerable amount of dust on them. Other than this was good.

Good things about this hotel: their awesome staff members, cleaners are so lovely and their amazing breakfast . Bad things about this hotel: the double room is the size of a shoes box and the toilet is even smelly and iper small; it is in the middle.of nowhere, it is very pricey considering the size of the double room and the transport to get into the center or even just to go out and eat, McDonald is the only place outside the hotel, no kettle for tea or coffees in the room and the machine downstairs was broken throughout the our entire stay .

Good for airport related stay over with a car

Only suitable if you come by car as public transport is quite a walk and going to Amsterdam city center is easily an hour of commute. Hotel is situated in a remote area between a highway and McDonald’s with traffic all night and opening a window is not a good idea especially on the lower floors. Room was OK but my window was opening towards a chimney from the kitchen in 2m distance.

It may not be best option if you're a light sleeper and the neighbours are loud. Think many of the hotels aren't completely soundproof in Amsterdam and the guys from certain cultures talk loud and dont consider the neighbors even if you bang on the walls. The area is fairly far from the city centre but the tram runs frequently and takes 25-30min to get into the centre.

Outside to Amsterdã

My experience was very bad because it is completely outside the city. I went in the dark and when I saw it, it was very far from everything. Apart from the price I bought it in advance and when I saw it it was half off. So I lost money on my stay and paid a lot for transportation.
